God's call
Can you hear me calling, within?
Jesus said, "Come to me, all of
you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."
"I know that breaking free of your past is hard, but
I know the way,
I AM the Way.
"Do things haunt you from childhood? Or was it so bad that you cannot
remember?
Do the pains of everyday living cause you to build a fortress within you, so that you can cope?
"Reach out from your heart! Be bold! Take the step! I love you with a
love so great you cannot imagine; and I will teach you this love.
"Do not be afraid - I bring peace out of chaos, rest for the weary,
inner relief for the suffering. I will welcome you, like a lost child
being found by a loving mother or loving father.
"Come to Me as you are - I will never reject you or turn my back on
you. That is a promise.
"Will you dare to pray, now, and ask
Me into your life?"
How to pray
"Jesus, I think I hear your call. Are you really there? If
so, please show me. I am uncertain, my pride does not want to admit you
are there, but if you are, this could be important. I am willing to find
out.
"Please come into my life, and bring me love and inner peace. Change
my disposition for the better - I am willing to try.
"Amen".
